What is Crowd-Sourced Equity Funding (CSEF) – and how can it help you?
Crowd-Sourced Equiry Funding (CSEF) legislation recently passed the Senate. If you are an entrepreneur with an unlisted public company with less than $25m in assets and turnover, crowd-sourced equity funding is a way that you can raise capital, in exchange for equity in your company.
You can raise up to $5m a year through licensed crowd funding platform. A framework for proprietary companies isn’t yet available.
It is envisaged that the CSEF will commence in approx. six months.
